This 5.6 kWp PV system was installed by our client S.E.I. s.r.l. on a flat roof in Arzignano (Vicenza) using Sun Ballast’s photovoltaic panel structures. The ballasts allowed for a simple and fast installation, without damaging the concrete flat roof in any way and simplifying all mounting phases. Installing the structures indeed does not require any type of drilling, and the presence of the M8 fixing bushings already inside the ballast further reduces installation times; it is enough to place the structure, place the panel, fix the clip on the bushing, and then proceed quickly with the electrical connections.
The Single-Row 20° system used for this installation offers numerous other advantages, such as the ability to manage obstacles on the roof much more easily: the module rows are independent of each other, and both the length and distance between rows can be freely adjusted based on the specific characteristics of the roof. The Single-Row system is available in a wide range of inclinations – from 0° to 30° – can be used in both landscape and portrait modes, and is compatible with all Sun Ballast accessories.
In the photo, for example, the Cablowind system is clearly visible: this concrete channel serves as additional weight and connection between the different ballasts, while also providing a practical housing for electrical cables. The assembly of Cablowind also does not require any drilling, and the metal guide is fixed to the structures through the bushing already present on the back.
