9 kWp
3°
This 9 kWp photovoltaic system was installed by our client Edmond Solutions on the flat roof of a house in Saint Raphaël (France), and thanks to Sun Ballast’s Single-Row 3° ballasts, the installation was completed with great ease.
The fixing of the photovoltaic structure used indeed does not require any holes, and is simply done by placing the ballasts on the covering layer: in this case, to ensure maximum grip, the ballasts were positioned on the membrane layer beneath the gravel, which was then rearranged around the structure.
The concrete ballasts are available in a wide range of inclinations (from 0° to 30°), allowing for the fixing of photovoltaic panels both on the long and short sides, and offering the possibility to freely adjust both the length of the module rows and the distance between them. This is an important advantage when the roof has many obstacles or when – as in this case – the building’s geometry is irregular.
