This 27.75 kWp photovoltaic system on a flat roof was installed by Nice Energie on a slate-covered roof in Villeneuve Loubet, France. Thanks to the Single-Row 20° system by Sun Ballast, the installation was completed with great ease. The photovoltaic ballast used in this solution does not require any anchoring holes, providing a simple and extremely versatile solution for securing photovoltaic panels on a flat roof.

The cement ballasts used for the Single-Row system are available in a wide range of inclinations (from 0° to 30°), allowing the attachment of photovoltaic panels both horizontally and vertically. They also offer the possibility to freely adjust not only the length of the rows but also the distance between them. This makes the installation of photovoltaic structures much simpler and faster, even in the presence of obstacles such as chimneys, fans, and skylights. The Single-Row system is compatible with numerous Sun Ballast accessories: both the additional weights U-Block and the Cablowind system are visible in the photos. Thanks to the integration of these elements, the wind resistance of the system has been further increased.

The additional weights U-Block can be applied at any point and simply placed directly on the ballasts or, if necessary, even on Cablowind. The latter combines both the function of an additional weight and that of a channel for electrical cables in a single element, increasing the stability of the photovoltaic system and simultaneously improving the order and aesthetic appearance of the installation.
