When the priority is to ensure the highest level of wind resistance for photovoltaic systems, Sun Ballast’s Connect system is the ideal solution: the combination of all the ballasts in a single interconnected grid makes it possible to use lighter structures, reducing both the loads on the roof and transport costs, while ensuring a very high level of weathertightness.

The special configuration also allows loads to be distributed in a perfectly balanced manner, ensuring quick and easy installation on all flat roofs: in fact, the PV ballasts used in the Connect system do not require any fixing holes, and they rest easily on any type of surface. Thanks to the M8 bushings pre-installed in the structure, fixing the photovoltaic panel-both horizontal and vertical-is also done very quickly, and the wide range of inclinations (from 5° to 30°) makes it possible to select the model best suited to the specific needs of the system.

The one installed in France by C2E Habitat (31) – a partner of our distributor Aris Energie – was built on a flat gravel roof with the 10° version, producing 5 kWp of clean electricity and ensuring maximum resilience in all weather conditions.
