Simplicity and strength in a single solution: the Sun Ballast support systems allow PV systems to be built on flat roofs quickly and easily, while ensuring the highest level of wind and weather tightness.

The Single-Row system-available in a wide range of versions from 0° to 30° of inclination-also allows the PV system layout to be adapted to the specific characteristics of the roof, easily modulating both the length and the distance between rows of PV panels.

The system in the photo – 27.5 kWp – was built in Löwenstein, Germany, by our customer JKW Energy GmbH & Co. KG using the 15° single-row system, and the installation took place on the flat sheathed roof of an industrial plant. Thanks to the special design of the Sun Ballast ballasts, the system achieved maximum wind resistance with a simple expedient: at the points of greatest exposure to currents, several ballasts (two or three) were in fact placed side by side, joining the structures with a special bracket and securing the PV module on one of them. In this way, the stability of the panels is very high, and the high level of strength ensures that the PV system is reliable in all weather conditions.
